Student Conduct

We believe that the first step to becoming a professional cosmetologist is developing a professional attitude. Evans Hairstyling College is committed to providing an environment where they encourage students to have a positive attitude toward fellow students, instructors, patrons, and their educational experience. This will make them more successful in their lives and schooling.




Graduation Requirements

Graduation requirements shall include scheduled classes of 2,000 clock hours, which is a State of Idaho requirement. Taking twelve (12) months of schooling, figured at forty (40) clock hours each week.

Upon completion of the course the student will receive a certificate of completion which will allow the student to take the State Board Exam in any state in the United States, and qualify them to own and operate their own salon.




Classification of Students

The clinic floor is divided into three classes. Junior students are from zero to 1,000 hours completed. A senior student has completed 1,000 to 2,000 hours completed. An advanced student is one who has excelled in school and completed advanced testing in class room and clinical services on students, manikins, and patrons.

Students are eligible to begin working on their advanced status once they have completed their first quarter and ahve demonstrated sufficient confidence and skills. Advanced students will be recognized by the school, clients, and the salons that hire them for excellence in the profession of cosmetology.

Continued Support

After graduation students are welcome to contact the school for support on work and services they are doing in their salons. The staff will be glad to help them in their continued growth as a Cosmetologist.

The school does not guarantee any employment. The school will assist students in finding employment, by helping with resume's, listing jobs available on bulletin board, and help students make contacts.
